The 44 acre Waterside site is situated on a long overlooked stretch of land with an industrial past. Mignatti Companies has voluntarily reclaimed this blighted former brownfields site and is transforming it into a one-of-a-kind mixed-use Traditional Neighborhood Development.
Working with the former site owners, federal, state and local leaders, regulatory agencies, public funding sources, and community groups, Mignatti Companies and industry peers view the successful redevelopment of Waterside as the keystone for the revitalization of the Lower Bucks riverfront.
The following milestones have been achieved in the Waterside revitalization effort:
- Land Development Approvals for 605 new homes, 50,000 sq. ft. of office/retail space and 10+ acres of park and open space.
- Completion of Site Demolition and Remediation pursuant to a US EPA/PA DEP approved clean-up plan
- EPA Region 3 Environmental Achievement Award which honors Mignatti Companies’:
- Significant sustained, measurable and replicable environmental results in reducing pollution and protecting public health and the environment.
- Innovative ideas, approaches, techniques and technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership and outreach to others.
